Invitation to referring professionals, providers and experts to join the CAMHS redesign process
Posted on 10 Oct 2014
As a specialist, referring professional or expert in the field of mental health and emotional wellbeing services, we are inviting you to join an innovative and bold coproduction process across Coventry and Warwickshire. We are looking for your input to help shape and design local mental health and emotional wellbeing services (tiers 1-3).
We have strong examples of good practice locally to build on, but there are ambitions to do more. This in the context of the challenges we face such as increasing demand and limited public sector resources.
This is an opportune moment to redesign our local provision, and we hope that you join us on this journey…
The two workshop dates referring professionals are invited to are:
To book your place on the workshops please go to https://camhs-professionals-referrers.eventbrite.co.uk
- Tuesday 18th November (Part 1), 9.00-12.30 at the Learn Warwickshire Hub, Rugby
- Tuesday 25th November (Part 2), 9.00-12.30 at Council House, Coventry
The two workshop dates specialists and experts are invited to are:

To ensure continuity of expertise in this process, it is important that you (or representative) can attend both the sessions appropriate to your role. The session will be facilitated by the Young Foundation. The Young Foundation uses social innovation to tackle the root causes of inequality, bringing expertise in facilitating design processes.
Leading national mental health charity Young Minds are running parallel workshops with young people and parents/carers. After these initial workshops, Young Minds will bring all groups together to coproduce the future service model. It is hoped you would contribute to these.
